A derelict building has been purchased by our clients and we have been contracted to tear it down and build a brand new home from the ground up.
Starting Fresh
Sometimes the best thing you can do with an old building is start over. That was the clear decision on this project. The existing structure on George Street had deteriorated to the point where renovation was simply not a responsible path forward — for the clients or for the neighbourhood. Demolition was the right call, and our earthworks team got to work immediately.
Clearing a derelict building has an immediate and visible impact on the surrounding area. The community around George Street has been watching this project with genuine enthusiasm, and rightfully so. A neglected property brings down the street around it. A brand new, well-built Davis home does exactly the opposite.
What Comes Next
With the demolition complete and the site cleared, the foundation work can begin. From there, the full Davis New Homes build process takes over — framing, mechanical systems, insulation, exterior finishes, interior finishes, landscaping, and final walkthrough.
