We meet with our clients to obtain a general list of features and requirements for their new home.
We talk about style, finishes, features, physical accommodations and more.
Inspiration images are helpful as we can often sense the desired outcome from the provided photos.
We will build on land our client owns or offer a complete turn-key package providing both land and home.
If an existing plan suits the needs of the client, we repurpose an existing plan and make changes as needed.
Changes usually include adjusting rooms by a few feet or changing the location and size of doors and windows.
Given the custom nature of our builds, we will also generate a completely new plan from the ground up. Clients provide their input throughout the entire process. We provide guidance on best practices as well as our 35+ years of building experience on what has and has not worked in the past.
We provide sketches of floorplans and renderings of the front elevation to give the client an ability to see what the home could look like at this very early stage.
Once we have the main floor plan confirmed, our pricing team works out costing and provides a complete cost breakdown with contract.
Our contracts are written in plain English, and our specifications are shown in written format as well as from a Model Home or by way of imagery from a home we built previously.
Given our turn-key process, our team obtains all necessary building permits including but not limited to the local municipality and conservation authority.
Construction commences according to our schedule and based on the closing date of the property.
Our selection team meets with the client to choose interior and exterior colours and finishes.
Product is ordered and set aside/delivered in a timely fashion so that construction may occur on time.
The home closes as being complete, with an occupancy permit, on time and on budget.
Our company has a legacy of never missing a closing date in over 35 years.
Our build quality is consistently top of mind. We strive to build the best home and take advantage of provisions within the Ontario Building Code to build a long-lasting building.
